Sunday School
Each Sunday morning at 9:45, we have Sunday School, age-graded bible study classes for all of our children where the word of God is taught and planted into kids' hearts. Our current classes are nursery (newborn to age 3), Pre-school (3 and 4-year-old), Pre-k & Kindergarten, first through third grades, and fourth through sixth grade. And parents, remember, we have an adult Sunday School class for you as well!
Children's Sermon
Every Sunday morning during worship Brother Troy invites all of those who are "young or young at heart" down to the front of the sanctuary for a lesson time just for them. These sermons usually involve some type of object lesson, as well as, interaction with the kids. This time is a special time where the children learn how God is at work in their lives and the world around them.
Wednesday Night
On Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m., we have activities for all our kids dividing them up between an older group and a younger group.
Vacation Bible School
Each summer, normally during July, we have Vacation Bible School for Children 3 years old to sixth grade. We also have a VBS nursery for VBS workers. During VBS, kids will be taught the word of God in an exciting and creative atmosphere. They will learn new worship songs, learn about missions, participate in recreation, and create crafts related to each day's Bible story. Each year, we rejoice to see how God plants His Word into children's hearts and how many come to a personal relationship with God through His Son Jesus!
Kids Camp
Each summer we take a group of kids who have finished the third through sixth grade to our associational camp called Next Level Kids Camp at Latham Spring Baptist Encampment. Kids will worship God, hear messages from God's Word, and attend Bible studies all geared towards their age level. They will be able to participate in recreation such as paintball, water slides and other lake activities, swimming, ropes course, and other team building games. They will stay in cabins with other kids from our church and our adult sponsors.
